Oxygenator existing high temperature butterfly valve sealing structure type due to its first generation of products in the actual use of the following problems.
(1) The seal is easily displaced along the circumferential direction, and because the seal gland is not fixed, the ground seal is easily dislocated along the circumferential direction during transportation and installation which makes the ground seal unable to form a good seal with the valve flap thus causing internal leakage of the valve.
(2) seal pressure test and installation of the force is not the same, easy to cause valve leakage, the existing sealing structure of the valve pressure test by the self-made flange with movable hand tightening after the installation of the valve and the pipe coupling is to rely on the sledgehammer for fastening before and after the two cases of seal force is very different, easy to deformation and leakage.
(3) The seal ring life is short, because the seal ring gland is higher than the flange sealing surface of the valve body, so the seal is completely pressed by the bolt coupling force of the pipe flange, such a large force is added to the seal ring, the seal ring is easy to deformation, short life.
Molecular sieve type butterfly valve seal structure improvement method: In view of the above defects of high temperature butterfly valve, we plan to make the following improvements to its seal structure form.
1, the seal gland and the valve body with drilling and tapping, in the circumference of the evenly distributed, 4 about M10 internal hexagonal set screws, so that the seal by the seal gland and set screws fixed, can ensure that the grinding of the seal in the test pressure after passing the whole process of installation with the valve does not occur in the misalignment phenomenon, to ensure the stability of the seal.
2, at the same time the seal gland thickness thinning so that its end face higher than the flange sealing surface distance from the original 2.5mm into 0.03mm, so as to ensure that the seal is fixed by other external forces, so that the seal in the test pressure state and the working state consistent, to ensure that the sealing effect does not change, in order to improve the life of the seal purpose.
