On the one hand, in the installation and connection of ductile tubes, only considering the convenience of construction or cost saving, the special lubricants required by the installation specifications that are harmless to the rubber sealing ring are generally not used for pipeline connection. and other chemicals as the lubricant when the pipeline is connected, which accelerates the aging effect of the rubber sealing ring in the pipeline. In addition, the chemicals include the chemicals contained in the water pipeline itself - such as residual chlorine, metal ions, etc. , It also includes the common grease, detergent and other chemicals brought in due to the connection construction. These chemicals accumulate in the rubber sealing ring of the ductile tube socket under the action of pipeline hydraulics. Because the currently used rubber sealing ring is resistant to oxygen and ozone And poor chemical resistance, thereby accelerating the aging process of the rubber seal, but also pollute the water quality. On the other hand, the irregularities in the installation process of the ductile tubes also include the use of forklift buckets and other strong thrusts to insert the connecting pipes, instead of uniformly inserting and connecting according to the tensioner required by the ductile tube connection specification. This strong thrust insertion method It may cause the rubber sealing ring to be installed incorrectly or damaged, as well as the uneven pressure of the rubber sealing ring at the sealing position. Such damage to the rubber sealing ring and places where the pressure is high will inevitably lead to premature aging and failure of the rubber sealing ring, resulting in interface leakage. In addition, if the rubber sealing ring is not protected during transportation and storage, such as being exposed to sunlight, high temperature, or being stored in the air for too long, the aging of the rubber sealing ring will be accelerated and its service life will be greatly shortened.
