The role of oil seals

The simple understanding of oil seal is a type of mechanical component that plays a role of sealing oil and prevents oil from leaking in the hydraulic transmission system of the machine. Therefore, the oil resistance and hydraulic oil performance of this kind of mechanical element seal oil seal are very good. The seals used in static seals and dynamic seals (reciprocating machines) are called seals.

 

The most representative oil seal is TC oil seal, also known as the double-lip oil seal. It is the most common material made of rubber, which has a completely covered oil sealing effect with a self-tightening spring. 


This type of oil seal is commonly known in the industry as TC skeleton oil seal. The following (Figure 1) is an anatomical diagram of the cross-sectional structure of an oil seal with a spring, decomposing the components of the oil seal. This is the oil seal.
