Application form and process characteristics of CNC machine seals

Development process of DSH CNC machine seal product  has a variety of high-performance sealing materials and sealing forms. The application process not only meets the working requirements of conventional equipment, but also meets the special problems of different working environments. There is a big difference between the processing technology of CNC seals and ordinary molded seals. 


Molded seals are manufactured by heating and melting the filled rubber; in addition, the material of the CNC seal is heated and melted and then extruded under high pressure. The casted rough barrel material is then used to form hydraulic seals or CNC machine seal rings through various sealing numerical control and turning data processing equipment programmed by software.


Typical application forms of CNC seals include low-pressure piston seals, guide rings, and O-ring seals, which can be used in various rotary seal cylinders, lip seals, piston seals, dust seals and other fields. The types of product types can use vee packing seals, O-rings, rotary seals, tightened seals, etc. in forging presses, piping systems and other equipment.

 

What are the obvious shortcomings of molded seal manufacturing process compared with CNC seals?


1. The sealing ring has poor compactness, and the product is prone to defects due to insufficient rubber packing.


2. The shrinkage ratio of the rubber material is different from the actual size required.


3. The appearance and finish of the manufactured seal products are poor.


4. The special size of the seal requires a long lead time for opening the abrasive tool.


CNC seals after heating and melting, what are the advantages of the high-pressure extrusion casting process?


1. The processing time of a single piece of sealing ring without mold turning is relatively short;


2. Due to the high-pressure extrusion internal material, the polymer structure is denser and the physical and mechanical properties are better;


3. The size of the seals processed by special turning CNC equipment is more accurate, and the smoothness of the seal ring is higher;


4. There are no mold restrictions and no standard restrictions on the turning seal ring. The thickness can be changed according to the overall wear condition of the cylinder, and the tolerances can be reasonably configured.
