Description
Piston Step Seals DSD is composed of PTFE seal and O-ring. A single-acting O-Ring energized piston seal for dynamic applications installed in closed grooves, including grooves to ISO 7425. Hydraulic step seals offers high sealing efficiency, low friction with no stick-slip, minimal break out force and high wear resistance.
Its design eliminates the potential for stick-slip and its very low running friction makes it ideal for high-speed applications. Provide outstanding wear and extrusion-resistance properties as well as large range of temperature and high-speed capabilities.
Piston Stepseal is available in a variety of DSH Seals high-performance materials to suit a wide range of demanding applications. A tandem arrangement using the DSD in an high performance material is effective in sealing high-frequency and long-stroke applications.
