Description

U Cup Seal OSI is a single-acting polyurethane piston seal that is available in a wide range of sizes. The seal is suitable for assembly into closed grooves and is mainly used in light-duty cylinder applications in mobile equipment.

This U Cup Seals OSI uses PU material, with a hardness of 90-95Ashore. U cup design provides an excellent heavy-duty for both piston or rod applications and works well in static and dynamic applications. Designed to have an interference in the seal housing groove, the outer dynamic lip is shorter and more robust to improve sealing and compression set characteristics over conventional, symmetrical U-rings.

U Cup Seals OSI can be considered for use in heavy-duty applications when used with a suitable full depth backup ring. The sealing lips are trimmed at an angle to give optimal rod sealing performance.
