Description

A modified PTFE jacket and a V-shaped corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring make up this Piston Type Spring Energized Seal, which can respond to rapid temperature fluctuations. It is also extremely wear-resistant and has a long-lasting sealing ring. It possesses self-lubricating properties and does not creep during operation, allowing for precise control. Low friction with no stick-slip, little break-out force, and great wear resistance are all features of these Piston Type Spring Energized Seals. PTFE jacket has exceptional durability and high tolerance to extrusion. Virgin polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is sometimes recommended for backup rings and high-temperature applications, while formulated ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) is valuable for dynamic sealing applications with high wearing forces.
