Material description of seals commonly used in hydraulic systems

Hydraulic system seal is a general term for the seals used to describe the moving parts of hydraulic equipment. Depending on the application, different types of seals can be used in combination to adapt to different sealing conditions. Its commonly used materials can be divided into two categories, namely rubber and resin. Commonly used rubber sealing materials are nitrile rubber, polyurethane rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, etc., and commonly used resin sealing materials are polytetrafluoroethylene, phenolic resin, polyamide resin, etc.

1. Rubber is a highly elastic organic molecular compound whose main component is natural or synthetic raw rubber. After the raw rubber is vulcanized and various compounding agents are added, the rubber can have the properties we require. The rubbers commonly used in sealing systems are mostly nitrile rubber, polyurethane rubber, silicone rubber, fluorine rubber, etc.

1. Nitrile rubber is a copolymer of butadiyl acrylonitrile. It has good oil resistance, wear resistance, bending resistance and aging resistance, so it is the most commonly used synthetic rubber.

2. Polyurethane is polymerized from polyester or polyether and diisocyanate as compounds. It has high wear resistance, excellent oil resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance, and good air tightness.

3. Silicone rubber can be used in a wide temperature range and has excellent aging resistance and radiation resistance.

4. Fluorine rubber is an organic elastomer copolymerized with fluorine-containing monomers, with high temperature resistance up to 300 °C, acid and alkali resistance, abrasion resistance, sunlight resistance, flame resistance and air tightness. synthetic rubber. The disadvantages of fluororubber are poor cold resistance, poor processing resistance, low elasticity and high price. Rubber is mostly used to make O-rings, oil seals, rotary lip seals, reciprocating seals and other products, and is one of the most commonly used materials in the sealing industry.

2. Commonly used resin sealing materials are polytetrafluoroethylene, phenolic resin, polyamide resin, etc.

1. PTFE is a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene. It is one of the materials with the best corrosion resistance in the world today. It is known as the "Plastic King". It can be used in any chemical medium for a long time, and its production solves many problems in my country's chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical and other fields.

2. Phenolic resin is made by polymerizing phenol and formaldehyde in proportion under the action of catalyst. It has good mechanical properties and heat resistance, but its disadvantages are high brittleness and poor workability.

3. Polyamide, commonly known as nylon, is formed by polycondensation of dibasic acid and diamine, or by dehydration of amino acid to make caprolactam and then polymerized. It has high strength and good impact toughness, excellent wear resistance and self-lubrication. The disadvantage is that it is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis and phenolic substances. The performance of Dongsheng Sealing Technology Co., Ltd. is superior to the raw materials of other companies, and the quality of the products is guaranteed from the source. We are well aware that the failure of the seal will bring great losses, and we focus on serving users and solving leakage problems for users. Unique structural design, good pressure resistance, temperature resistance and wide adaptability to chemical media, unique instant molding processing technology.
