Seals For Corrosion Resistant Kettles
Feb 05, 2022
DSH rubber seals tell you that the seals for corrosion-resistant kettles are mainly used for rubber seals in
glass-lined reactors, and can also be used in stainless steel kettles with corrosive media.
The more suitable parameters of the rubber seal for the mechanism seal for the corrosion-resistant kettle are: the pressure is 0-0.5MPa, the high and low temperature resistance is less than 150 degrees, the high and low speed is less than 500r/min, and the working medium (working environment) is corrosive fluid. There is an enamel protective layer on the stirring shaft of the glass-lined kettle, and the thickness of the coating is between 0.8 and 2.0 mm. Since the coating is difficult to be uniform, the roundness deviation of the shaft after high temperature firing is large, which also affects the surface roughness. This seal rubber seal structure is designed under the above conditions.
So, what are the characteristics of rubber seals for corrosion-resistant kettles?
The main features of this rubber seal are: a rubber O-shaped seal is arranged at the inner circle of the fixed end of the bellows, and is clamped in the open liquid storage tank with two half rings. When the operation is greater than 50 degrees Celsius, the lower part is provided with a water jacket to reduce the heat conducted by the kettle body to the rubber seal. In order to resist medium corrosion, the jacket is coated with a water glass coating. A stuffing box is added to the lower part of the jacket, and flexible graphite packing is filled to reduce the resistance
The deflection of the stirring shaft can reduce the pressure in the kettle and increase the impact on the rubber seal of the seal.
