How to install gaskets

Sealing gasket is a kind of sealing spare parts used in machinery, equipment, and pipelines as long as there are fluids. It uses internal and external materials for sealing. DSH Seals will tell you how to install the gasket in a few steps.
Pay attention to gasket installation:
(1) Before installation, the flange surface and gasket should be cleaned.
(2) Scratches, breakages, corrosion, etc. are not allowed on the gasket and flange surface.
(3) When the gasket is compressed, the pressure must be strictly limited to ensure uniform pressure.
(4) Safety tools should be used when replacing gaskets. Avoid sparks caused by flammable media in the pipe and cause fire.
(5) When the working temperature is higher than 200℃, the contact surface of flange and gasket should be coated with sealing paste.
(6) Wrap the gasket on the smooth sealing surface, and ensure that it is concentric with the inner diameter of the pipe during installation.
