The Features Of Petroleum Rubber Oil Seal
Mar 12, 2022
The rubber oil seal is mainly composed of four parts, namely: the sealing end face (the combination of
the moving ring and the static ring), the auxiliary oil seal, the buffer compensation part (composed of
elastic elements), and the transmission part that enables the moving ring to rotate with the shaft. From
the characteristics of petroleum rubber oil seal, it is mainly manifested in its long service life, high
reliability, small leakage, low power consumption, and no need for frequent maintenance, small wear on
the shaft, and can be well adapted to the actual situation. For high sealing requirements in the
production process, such as high temperature, low temperature and vacuum environment, or various
types of highly corrosive substances, special sealing measures must be adopted. For the sealing of
equipment and devices, the rubber oil seal is the key, but due to its relatively complex structure of the
rubber oil seal, even if there are many sealing advantages, in view of its high requirements in the process
of manufacturing and installation, it leads to cost increase, and the technical requirements for
maintenance personnel will be very high. Therefore, it is very necessary to ensure the reliability of sealing work to prolong the service life of petroleum rubber oil seals.
