Rubber Rotary Seals V ring are all-rubber, axial shaft seals. They provide an easy to install solution for rotary shaft applications, including serving as secondary seals in highly polluted environments. The design of VA includes a standard cross section with a straight back side face. As the most common V-ring, VA seals are typically used to protect bearing devices in gearboxes, motors, and drives. They are utilized to keep dirt, water, and other hostile media out of bearing housings while retaining grease. It wraps around the shaft, forming a tight interference fit.

V ring VA shaft seals provide efficient protection against dry and wet contamination through centrifugal slinger action. It can reduce wear and extend the life of the oil seal and bearings when used in conjunction with a metal-cased radial seal. It is very effective in dry-running situations. It may be stretched over flanges or other components for easy installation with minimal unit disassembly because it's all rubber and very elastic. Besides, it has low torque drag and heat build-up, and it doesn't necessitate costly counter-surface preparation. They provide the best, pressure free axial seal for all types of rotating shafts.. Used for static applications in certain applications and can also be used to protect a mechanical assembly from impurities, greases, oil or dust. Flexible axial lip seal for shafts and bearings. Advantages

The V-ring is usually stretched and installed directly on the shaft, fixing it in place through the inherent tension of the rubber body. It rotates with the shaft and is axially sealed on a fixed opposite surface perpendicular to the shaft. The reaction surface can be the side wall or washer of the bearing, stamped parts, bearing seats, or even the metal shell of the deep sea. The sealing lip is flexible and only applies relatively light contact pressure to the opposite surface, still sufficient to maintain sealing function. Low contact pressure (which varies with installation width) allows the seal to operate dry in many applications.

Due to the influence of centrifugal force, the contact pressure at the lip decreases with increasing speed. This means that friction loss and heat are kept to a minimum, resulting in excellent wear characteristics and extended sealing life. Once breakthrough friction is overcome, friction will steadily decrease. Rotary Seals V ring is entirely made of rubber and is not reinforced with fabric or metal plates. Therefore, they are particularly easy to install. It can be stretched and installed on flanges, pulleys, and bearing boxes according to size, without the need for expensive disassembly. For larger sizes, they can even be provided as cutting rings and connected through on-site vulcanization.
