Description

Step seals is composed of a rubber O-ring and a PTFE ring. The material is PTFE+NBR. In special cases, rubber will be used FKM. It can be divided into rod step seals and piston step seals, but the sealing effect is same.

When the hydraulic cylinder is working, the pressure fluid is elastic deformed through the O ring, maximize squeeze the square ring, making it close to the sealing surface, generated high additional contact stress and increased the pressure of the pressure liquid. Together with the initial contact stress, the leakage of the pressure liquid is prevented.
