Description
Step seals is composed of a rubber O-ring and a PTFE ring. The material is PTFE+NBR. In special cases, rubber will be used FKM. It can be divided into rod step seals and piston step seals, but the sealing effect is same.
According to its own deformation, will generate a higher initial contact stress on the sealing surface, prevent liquid leakage. When the hydraulic cylinder is working, the pressure fluid is elastic deformed through the O ring, maximize squeeze the square ring, making it close to the sealing surface, generated high additional contact stress and increased the pressure of the pressure liquid. Together with the initial contact stress, the leakage of the pressure liquid is prevented.
The installation physical performance of the rod step seals is stable. It has good dust-proof effect and is not easy to be invaded by foreign objects. Can prevent all external interference. Rod step seal has the characteristics of long service life, strong extrusion resistance and high wear resistance.
