The standard angle of the V-shaped combined seal ring is 90°, and 60° is also used in special working environments. The support ring is an important part to support the V-shaped combined sealing ring. Its section is thick and strong, and its size, concave angle and V-shaped sealing ring are the same (90°) or slightly larger, so that the sealing ring can be placed stably.

The function of the pressure ring is to form an initial compression amount for the V-shaped combined sealing ring, the sealing lip of the sealing ring is in full contact with the sealed surface, and the compression amount of the V-shaped combined sealing ring can be adjusted.

In the state, the outer diameter of the lip of the V-shaped combined sealing ring is larger than the inner diameter of the packing cavity, and the inner diameter of the sealing lip is smaller than the outer diameter of the piston rod. In this way, there will be some deformation after assembly. Due to the action of the support ring, this deformation only occurs on the sealing lip, and pressure is generated at the contact part. Even if no pressing force is applied, the deformation of the sealing lip itself can be sealed to a certain internal pressure. Because the deformation of the sealing lip has a "self-sealing" effect, when the working pressure of the medium increases, the lip tip changes the contact shape and increases the contact pressure, and the sealing lip and the sealed surface fit more closely to achieve the sealing effect, and the medium pressure rises The high contact pressure increases accordingly to ensure the sealing effect.
