According to the sealing function of the seal product in the sealing device, the main seal and the auxiliary seal are divided into two categories. The main seal plays the main sealing effect in the sealing system, and the auxiliary seal is used to protect the main seal from damage, prolong the service life of the main seal, and improve the sealing performance of its various parts.
1. Dust ring
The function of the dust ring is to prevent foreign objects such as dust, fluid splashing, and impurities from intruding into the machine, causing contamination of the working medium, resulting in damage to hydraulic components, and reciprocating impurities on the piston rod to protect the piston rod seals, The guide ring and the support ring are protected from the wear, scratch and erosion of these impurities; at the same time, it can also seal a small amount of leaking oil brought out by the reciprocating sealing piston rod, so as not to pollute the environment.
2.Gaske
The function of the gasket is to prevent the seals such as rubber sealing rings with soft materials from being squeezed into the sealing gap and being bitten and damaged.
3. Guide support ring
The guide support ring plays the role of friction and guiding in the hydraulic cylinder, preventing the hydraulic cylinder from sintering and making the movement smooth.
4. Buffer ring
The buffer ring is also called the decompression ring. It is used in high-pressure hydraulic cylinders and placed on the high-pressure side of the sealing device to avoid impact pressure such as high pressure or pressure peaks directly acting on the piston or piston rod seals, so as to protect the main seal from high pressure.
5. Anti-fouling protection ring
The anti-fouling protection ring, also known as the protection ring, is a dust-proof ring inside the cylinder body. Its function is to prevent impurities in the working medium from contacting the sealing ring or guide support ring to avoid being scratched by impurities.
In many new sealing schemes, the sealing ring and various auxiliary seals are often pressed together to form a combined seal or a perfect sealing device. In addition, the seal can be divided into hydraulic seal and Air pressure seal: According to the different sealing materials, it is divided into metal seals or rubber seals, and according to the different working pressure of the medium, it is divided into high pressure, low pressure seals or vacuum seals, and so on.
