Common Sense Of Fluorine Rubber O-ring
Nov 07, 2021
With the development of industry, seals are widely used in automobiles, electronics, aerospace, ships, etc., which require relatively high precision, high temperature resistance, high wear resistance, and harsh working environments. With the development of industry, fluorine rubber materials are also used. In continuous improvement and innovation, the following are the properties and scope of application of widely used fluorine rubber materials.
DSH Seals is a scientific and technological production enterprise with many years of production and R&D experience. The technicians are the earliest professionals in the country who engaged in the development of polymer wear-resistant materials and the production of sealing elements. They have rich design and manufacturing experience. Production of fluoroplastic products (PTFE), PU, plastics, rubber and other polymer materials suitable for harsh working conditions, and the research and development, production and sales of a full range of hydraulic (air) cylinder seal products. We know that fluorine rubber can resist oil, hydraulic oil, fuel oil, lubricants, inorganic acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons, but in the case of esters, ethers, ketones, certain amines and high-temperature fluorine, water and hydrogen compounds. Next, fluoroelastomer should not be used. High temperature resistance is better than silicone rubber, excellent chemical resistance, resistance to most oils and solvents (except ketones and esters), weather resistance and ozone resistance; cold resistance is poor, and the general use temperature range is -20 ~250 ℃. Special formula can withstand low temperature to -40 ℃.
Advantages: It can withstand heat to 250 ℃; it is resistant to most oils and solvents, especially all acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and animal and vegetable oils.
Disadvantages: It is not recommended to be used in ketones, low molecular weight esters and nitrate-containing mixtures; automobiles, locomotives, diesel engines and fuel systems.
Perfluoroelastomer
Advantages: best heat resistance; excellent chemical resistance;
Disadvantages: poor low temperature resistance; higher raw material prices; higher production difficulty
Scope of application: Perfluorinated products are widely used in the semiconductor industry and information-related industries. The scope of application includes PVC, CVD and etching processes in the thin film process and various high-vacuum sealing processes.
